Introduction

Arduino Weather Station Shield is a temperature and humidity measuring module with 4 seven-segment digits. This device plugs into an Arduino Uno board and comes with a pluggable DHT11 sensor. Just upload the Demo Code from the documents section into your Arduino Uno and enjoy the full functionality of a weather station. You can power the Arduino from a power bank (5V) / mobile charger (5V) / external DC jack (7V to 12V) and showcase your low-cost weather station.

Features

Measures temperature and humidity using an Arduino Uno, without any wire connection.
4 seven segment digits with decimal points allow clearer annotation and precise values.
4 transistors on digit pins and 8 current limiting resistors on segment pins ensure the safety of Arduino Uno’s digital I/O pins.
Multiplexing technique saves pins and allows the user to use 7 digital I/O pins: D0(Rx), D1(Tx), D9(PWM), D10(PWM), D11, D12, D13
Stackable color-coded header for other purposes.
Comes with a pluggable DHT11 sensor but can be replaced with a more powerful DHT22.
