Serial IR Sensor Array7 25mm

Build your line follower robot without writing any line detection code and using only 2 digital pins of your Arduino. Unlike other line sensors that only detects black and white colors, it detects line position, left/right sharp turn, line intersection & line discontinuity and sends the data to Arduino using serial communication. You can also obtain analog values of individual sensors as well as their calibrated values if you want.

Forget rotating pots or modifying your code every time you want to calibrate your line sensor on a new surface/ track. The auto calibration method of this sensor takes only 5 seconds and only requires pressing of a single push button.

There’s a white-black toggle switch that enables this sensor to detect either white line on black surface orblack line on white surface. There’s Line indicating LEDs corresponding to each of the 7 Infrared receivers. They provide visual feedback of line position beneath the sensor. This sensor can detect line of any thickness (at least 1cm), but works best on a 25 mm or 1 inch thick line.
