Sonoff devices are one of the most popular names in the world of IOT. Easy to integrate hardware, dedicated free server and clean companion apps are the main reasons for it’s polpularity. Sonoff basic is the base Wifi version of those models and provides great support for implementing a simple Wifi based IOT device.

 

As long as your smart phone has got internet access (2G/3G/4G/WiFi), you can control your Sonoff connected device, from anywhere in the world. Another available feature is to set timers for the appliances, which can include countdown/scheduled/loop timers.

 

Features:

Remote Control: Sonoff communicates with its cloud server through a Wi-Fi Router, which enables you to remotely control the connected appliances, via free eWeLink App, from any place.You can download the iOS version in App Store and the Android version in Google Play.

Manual Switch: By simply pressing the onboard toogle button, you can turn on/off the connected appliance. Pressing and holding the button also takes the device into paring mode.

Voice Control: You can integrate your eWelink account with google assistant. Just say “okay google” and google assistant of your android phone will be ready to control your sonoff connected devices. Sonoff Basic also works with Amazon Echo,Echo Dot,Amazon Tap and Google Home.

Easy Installation: Connecting Sonoff to your electrical system is very easy. Adding Sonoff to your eWelink account takes less than a minute.

Share Access: Share access to your Sonoff devices with other eWelink accounts and let your family & friends control your IOT device.

Timing Functions: Set timing schedules for the appliances, which can include countdown and scheduled on/off.

Remembers Status: Sonoff can be set up to remember its last On/Off state in case of power cut (load shedding). So when power comes back, your IOT device will get back to its last On or Off state automatically.
